Help MAF Sensor!!!

i have a 03 spec v and for some reason it dosent go over 2500 rpm im pretty sure its because of the MAF snesor is there any way to clean it and one question would a 2004 MAF Sensor Fit a 2003???

2500rpm is the limit for safe mode, IIRC. I assume you've had all your recalls done. Did you have any strange driving behavior prior to this 2500rpm limit?

MAF failure typically acts a bit more like a vac leak - trouble idling, hesitation, etc. For reference, any MAF 02-06 will be fine, but I don't think that's your problem. Did you recently do anything to the intake system?

im pretty sure its the MAF because i used this crc cleaner and and it worked like normal but then again it went back to normal. after a couple of is there any specific way to clean it?

go to pep boys or whatnot..they have maf safe cleaners..

Mist Windex over the MAF (or even something milder if you have it) while holding the MAF assembly vertically. The mist will fall in the assembly and a small amount of it will land on the sensor itself. Then use a shopvac or something similar to blow it dry. Cleaning is certainly worth a shot.

Of course you can use one of the MAF-safe cleaners NISMO mentioned as well.
