I have a 2006 M35. It was recently in an accident. I need to take it to their repair shop. However, it has an issue where it does not start. It will only start on Neutral. To stop it from running, I have to remove the fuel pump fuse as it will not shot off. I believe there is something wrong with the park neutral switch. However, I'm not sure how to find it. I did not find it under the transmission. I called the dealer and they say the switch is by the shifter inside the car.. or part of the shifter. It took them a while to even give me that answer. They were not sure. I guess I may have to buy a new shifter from the junk yard. However, I needed to know for sure so
I can troubleshoot and try to get my car started the correct way.

The starting issue is more likely a bad park neutral switch. Please help.
