I'm having trouble finding strut insert cartridge for a base model y33 q45, checked my local parts store they don't have any nor can order them, checked eBay and had them for 450+. Google didn't do any good helping either. If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it, does not have to be oem
Thanks.

Try http://www.infinitipartsusa.com

Be sure they understand you are interested in the front strut inserts only, although you will need strut bearings and gators also, at the minimum.

BTW, you have a FGY33. Y33 Cedric and Gloria never imported by Nissan.

The bad news is that there are no readily available aftermarket products for your car. You either have to go with OEM replacements or if you want an improvement in handling you can get KYB SR Specials whichh are made by the same company that makes the OEM (KYB is the OEM manu for your car). Unfortunately, the SR Specials are not carried by the usual mail order or local places, the only place that has carried them or has the ability to order them is a place called memoryfab. They have a website www.memoryfab.com, there is nothing about the shocks on the site, you need to call them and ask about availablility from them directly.

I did them and they are great, much better than stock by a mile.
