G'Day Guys,

I'm looking for a few hard to find (in AU at least) parts for my JDM Series 1 VH41.

The seller was supposed to ship me a complete loom and ECU, but fell off the face of the earth. As I understand it he actually tracked down the loom on Nico. Not responding to emails, phone disconnected, even called his employer they let me know that he was no longer working there. This was a while ago and I've given up.

First up I am after a CAS that would suit this engine. Looking at my other thread, the CAS on this engine is quite different to the US series engines. Mine has two connectors; one on the body and one on a pigtail out the bottom. The body electrical connector is the traditional optical sensor, whereas the pigtail is connected to a 8+1 wheel and VR inductive pickup. Pictures in this thread here:zer...34832 3rd post from bottom.

Next is an Igniter Module, apparently the SR modules are the same. Part number is DIS4-04 22020 50F00. Apparently they are the same as 94' US VH45: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...19665.

I'd also like a loom (mine was hacked up) and an ECU, but these aren't super important.

I guess it'd be the AU/NZ guys that might be able to help the most.

Anyone able to help me out?

Cheers,Kirby

Mate try SSS automotive in SydneyThey should have the ignitors, yes are the same as SRAnd should have the CAS, I think they may be the same as SR as Nissan does share their parts a fair bit but you have to confirm with part numbers if possible.Loom would be hard and ECU SSS may have??http://www.sssautomotive.com.au/

So I am unable to determine the model number of the whole unit.

However the encoder inside is a RSB-14.

Can any of the US guys check to see if the encoder is the same?

If I can get a new encoder, new optical-disc and cover I'll be fine!

Mettler & Bart, you both have the same engine as me. Can you check if your optical encoder disc is a 4/360 or a 8/360? As in the outer ring is 1deg increments and the inner ring is either 90deg or 45deg.

Cheers
