The G37 is generally a more refined car than the G35. Unless you insist on a manual transmission, the G37X is the best of the bunch. All wheel drive improves traction under all conditions and helps tame the cars twitchy rear end.
My wife and I did 700 miles in one day and I did 300 solo one evening in our 2008 G37S. We still felt like human beings on arrival. Make sure you fit the seats. I have heard some large people complain that the side bolsters are too close together. That would be uncomfortable.
Of the optional packages, the most important one is the Premium package. Without it, the car really isn't a luxury ride. I also got the navigation system, but more for the rear view camera than the navigation. Computer graphics, driven by steering angle, are superimposed on the image. They work so well that you can parallel park without looking outside the car.
