long story short
built 3.1 stroker motor less than 2000miles on it
lost oil pressure
smashed connecting rod bearing
need (stroker) crank repaired
I pulled the engine, but going further is over my head.

I'm looking for someone experienced with L series engines in the midwest area. (4-6 hrs from madison wi)
to take the motor and pull the crank, repair the crank, re-install with oversized bearings if needed, and check for any other damage from the metal flakes in the oil.

(I'm looking for someone with enough experience who will recognize the aftermarket internals. )

I'm also gonna get in touch with the local track day and wheel to wheel guys to see if they have any one in mind.

What's wrong with the crank? Can't tell much from the pic, is it just wearing some bearing material? if so any decent machine shop can polish the crank. Are you using the standard LD crank? Of is this an offset ground crank?

yes, i'm told a machine shop can repair the crank - it's a balanced LD
WIll probably need oversized bearing, and the sides of the crank where the bearing sits is scratched up and scored. In addition to being all scratched up from the connecting rod slapping around, The bearing material pancaked and squished out on the sides scoring the crank.

But i havent removed the crank. I'm looking for a recommended place to dissemble and resemble as well, and inspect for any other damage.
I have my reasons for not doing it myself, so i'm looking for someone competent and experienced.
