93 r33 skyline.

*Just* had the brakes changed was driven home. Then problem occured (mechanic has *no* idea - was a mate)

The key turns fine, but will *not* go off completely - won't turn of the accessories....

I was thinking maybe is there something electrical that gets sent from the brakes/park brake to the ignition and maybe that stops it turning? (The key *cant* come out)

Nissan was rang and they were morons, had nfi what was going on :p

Thanks guys, really kinda urgent :D

If you know how, don't hesitate to call me, 0402 551 209 to explain. Thanks. :D

Have you tried playing with the shifter and the steering wheel?

I know on my mom's automatic, the key won't come out unless it's in Park. So if yours is in Park and the key won't come out, I'm guessing it has something do with with either the linkage or the sensor that tells the ECU the transmission is in park.

Haha, no, sorry forgot to specify the car. Not a Skyline. :)

2001 Chevy Impala LS. And my sister's 2001 Kia Sephia is the same way.
