-=HELP=- K&N installed- odd noises from engine

Hey everyone! My dad and I just installed my K&N filter into my car. We installed it exactly according to the directions. When the engine is reved, there is an odd rattling (maybe a rapid frapping noise?) coming from the block head area. Its not loud, nor does it change the performance of the car but it just sounds funny. Should I be concerned? Someone please respond ASAP.-Kev

P.S., No check engine light came on or anything while driving. (Actually, the Z hauls some major *** now)

thats strange. i have no clue as to what could be going on. you need to change your sig. now btw. you have a filter AND exhaust

you need a lip on it ! looks better with out the smiley face effect goin on. and some clear lenses, maybe rice but i think they look better on a light colored car, i dont like the orange. put the lights a bit lower, hell spend 3$ and put the sleepy eye switch in. havent caught any flack for not having the plate on yet but im sure i will soon, so its sitting on the pass side floor board just in case i get pulled over. i want a 91 bumper ...

not sure what it is or could be but i bet the sound was there the whole time, but with your new filter (i'm guessing a cone) you can hear it now.
