HELP....just need to make sure

i was wondering where does the oil hole on the bearing goes...i looked on the fsm (Engine Mechanical 68) and it shows with the connecting rod and the piston, that it goes on the intake side but another pic shows that the bearing holes are on the exhaust side so i'm confused...any help with be greatly appreciated...
