I did a drift and lost control, then stall the motor. After a few minutes the Service Engine lite came on. Is that enough to blow the intake manifold gasket or is the dealer raping me for $400. I just bought the car today and blew the gasket the same day...this sucks.

Did you buy the car from an indevidual or a car lot. If its a car lot they should pay for the repairs, if it's an individual I would make them pay for half the repairs at least or start screaming lemon law.

he shouldnt of been playing around with his car so hard when it hadnt even been 24hrs yet. Man, you must have been rough on it. Do you mean head gasket maybe? i dont see the logic reguarding intake manifold gasket and $400.

ALSO THIS IS TURBO KA FORUM, HOWABOUT MOVING THIS THREAD TO TECH OR GENERAL.

I know this is a turbo forum, but I have the F-Max turbo already, and if the Intake Mani. Gasket blew from me messing around one time, then how will it hold up to BOOST? Its got me thinking twice about strapping it on, I might sell the FMax kit and go SR.

Ok, your obviously a nube. So I won't be harsh. If you want help with things, you need to post more info then did a drift-car stalled-check engine light....get the hint.

What were you doing? How hot was the car? What RPM were you at? Did you bounce the rev limiter??

If you have no knowledge with turbo's, then going SR isn't the answer.

not to be harsh but that was stupid...get a volvo or a hummer or something that can take your feminine driving skill

How exactly do you 'blow the intake manifold gasket'???

Sounds similar to blowing the welds on your intake manifold :|
