My ABS light came on this morning and immediately I heard a whining noise. This is the first time the ABS light has come on and I never heard the whining noise before. The noise continued even with the engine off. I popped the hood and located the source of the noise. I am engine illiterate and consulted my owners manual and I am only guessing the noise is coming from the actuator? Is this common when the ABS light goes on? Is my car going to explode? What needs to be done? What is my next step? Thanks guys.
