okay, after hooking up my boost gauge and seeing that im only getting 7psi of boost, i wanted to get to the bottom of this.

so i hooked up my consult device and noticed im getting the dreaded error 34 (knock sensor circuit)

so i looked under the hood and i guess whoever did the conversion, never hooked up the knock sensor because the connector from the sensor is just dangling there and i cant find the other side that connects to the ecu.

so i was wondering, does anybody know here which wire it is on the ECU to the knock sensor? i believe it is pin 23 but i want to be sure. and do i just ground the 1000k ohm resistor to pin 23? want to see if this trick works, then if it does i'll go buy a knock sensor and wire it myself.

Yes, you are right. Terminal #23 on the ECM is for the KS circuit but you don't put the resistor on the ECM, you wire that to the KS terminal( the plug ).

so are you saying the harness connector is missing that plugs into the KS to go to the ECU?
