Help its Summertime and my AC is out

I have been lurking here for a while because you guys put me to shame with your knowledge, hey better to keep your mouth shut than to confirm ignorance right.

Anyway my AC went out yesterday and there is this heat wave. I won't have the 1000 bucks or so to get it fixed for a couple of weeks.

I noticed that the clutch isn't moving at all and I tried one of the refrigerant bottles it stayed in the red since the clutch isn't engaging. I want to check the relay next but from the diagram it looks like its internal to the IPDM.

Can I take that out without destroying my car?

I am having the same issue that you had. Did you ever get your AC fixed?
