Lask week while changing oil under the car, I saw this green leak under the engine, and took a picture of it to get help identifying it in the forums.
The consensus was that of leaking CVT fluid, and someone also noted the pink, RTV sealant that was squeezed out along the bottom of the engine and suggested that it is a sign that the CVT was taken apart and put back together.

Now, I have bought this car new from a Nissan dealer and the only thing I had done was oil changes at another Nissan dealership. I can understand a leaking rubber gasket can occur after ~21k miles, but I can't understand how a rebuilt (if that's what the pink sealant indicates) CVT is on this car?

Can others with a 2.5L or a Hybrid, help me by looking at this area of the engine and tell me whether or not you can see the pink RTV sealant squeezed out?

I need to better understand what is going on here before I can confront the Nissan dealer who sold me the car.

BTW, I have an appointment this morning, with the Nissan dealer who has been doing the oil changes, to look at the green leak and I will ask what the pink stuff is, and see what they say.

The Nissan service tech said it's coolant for the CVT that was leaking due to failing gasket around that square metal plate.
When asked about the squeezed out pink RTV sealant, he said that's normal and it comes from the factory that way.

I asked him why they don't wipe away the excess at the factory, and does he see the excess in other NAHs, and he said he doesn't know why they don't wipe off the excess, and yes, he sees that in other NAHs.

I'd like to see other owner's pics of that area and see how prevalent that is.
