Help Interior Lighting

Hi I am a new member to this forum. I have a 2006 M35 sport and absolutely love the car!!! For some reason my interior lights randomly went off and then came back on. Then they went off again and never came back on. That is the console, clock, and illumination lights. They dont work at all. Its like if the headlights were off. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Please try to help me

I'd start with your fuse - its under the panel that covers you battery in the top left corner under your hood as you stand in front of your car.

Could also be a bad BCM module or it may need to be reprogrammed.

I check all the fuses they seem to be good. There is a relay that says REV LAMP. Im not sure if thats good or bad or what it might control.

Is it under warranty? If so, take it in.

Checked all the fuses, and they seem to be fine. I took it to the infiniti dealer and 11 days later, they said it needs a new engine harness! I highly doubt that its the engine harness. I am assuming its either the dimmer switch, or the body control module. I heard the BCM controls the interior lighting. The only inside light that actually turns on with the headlights is the heated seats buttons. Not sure whats going on. The warranty ran out 2,000 miles ago
