HELP! Interior door handles...

OK, you guys know I swapped out the convertible door panels for coupe panels.

The convertible door handles (plastic pocket piece that surrounds the power window switches) were busted in my 'vert, so I got a set from a NICO member parting out his coupe.

The driver's side one worked great, door panel needed a LITTLE trimming to get it to fit (it was longer than the hole).

HOWEVER, the one for the passenger side is way SHORTER than the hole in the door panel! Were there different door handles from 89-90/90-93?

The one I have is a full 1.5" shorter than the hole in the door panel, and is of no use to me - will give it to someone once I find the right handle to fit.

there must be a difference between the 89-90 model and the 91-94 models because I replaced my passenger side with one from a late model S13 fastback and it fits with no gap.
