So Ive had these lights laying around for awhile now, and finally decided its time to put them to use. In the past, I put a few lights on but always did such a crappy job on it. I want to do it right this time so any help would be awesome.
How do I use the quick connect wire clamps??? Im going to wire the red ones into the brake lights probably, and the amber into the parking lights. I think it is very easy to do, I just dont want to !$#@ it up! So, if anyone can guide me through it with pics if ya got em, it would be much appreciated.
THANKS!

Are they LEDs check the amp draw, permanent installation, if so solder them in, any crimp, clamping device in a car application is temporary, you might have to fuse them.

those 3m things just cut into the stock wire, very primitive connection, they only include those pieces so any idiot can hook them up, but like ARK said its a temporary connection

the right way would be to cut back some insulation on the stock wire, solder them in, and seal it up

Ok thanks. Ill look into soldering...its time to learn something new. Is it hard to do? Ive seen it done many times...seems like the more you do it the easier it becomes. Can I screw it up, or is it basically simple?

If you're soldering wires, it's really no big deal. Just strip the two wire ends, put some heatshrink tubing on beforehand, twist them together, wrap solder around them, melt the solder (make sure it's all the way around the wire) and heat up the heatshrink using a BBQ lighter or something.

So, I checked out some videos on soldering, and it does seem pretty simple. I think Im going to buy me a gun and give it a go! One question though, do I solder both wires from the led lights into the existing wire Im tapping into? Or do I solder the negative wire to the ground and the positive into the parking light???
Thanks!

Either way should work, as long as the ground wire is, well, grounded.
