Help installing headlight bulbs

i just got new Sylvania Silverstar bulbs for my 95 240. anyone know how to remove the old lights? having trouble, and don't want to break anything. help asap!

Just pop the hood. Unscrew a few things, take out the corner lens, and take out the headlamp. Its pretty straight forward. You have to unscrew some stuff around the radiator to take off a plate before you take out the lamp

You don't have to do all that. Unscrew that little top thing on the back of the headlight. Pull off the little rubber cover. Unplug it. Feel around for the two metal clips on either side of the original bulb. Pull in(towards center of bulb) then out on both of them and the bulb should come right out. Reverse process to install.Josh

It's hard to get any leverage in that small space behind the head lamps. The hardest part is unplugging the damn thing. It took me alot longer than I would have liked the first time I changed my light bulbs.

I have those same bulbs. They have a nice bright white lite. Not a dim orangy glow. For the price they werent bad.

actually yeah. they're whiter than most of the PIAA bulb I see.

I have Farenheit Xenon headlight bulbs and they are great. Only like $15 if you find them at the right price too. They are bright and not yellow as well. I would definetly suggest those as well.Josh
