first off you shouldve started with cylinder number one at TDC on the compression stroke. you can tell if you do it correctly by looking at the camshafts (theyll both be pointed outwards on cylinder one), looking at the dizzy rotor (it should be at the number one terminal) and finally the crank pulley (it should be the second mark from the left). as long as you have it at number one tdc on compression stroke, you should easily be able to pull the old one out and throw the new one right in there. all you gotta do is make sure the lobe is pointing outwards like how it was when you took it off.... gl

the head came off from a different block, and i'm using a different block which is set to tdc on the compression stroke before i took everything apart to rebuilt it. is there a way you can tell if i have it set in right?
