help installed cams and now vaccumm is low

so i installed a set of cams i got from korey, and now my vaccumm is at 14-16 and the idle surges, timing is set at 15 degree mark, and boostboy(dee) if you can give me the specs of these cams that would be great, Goofyca18det said he got these cams from you.

Depending on how aggressive the cams are, that's entirely normal. I know on DSMs, they usually pull around 20" of vac, but with 272s it idles around 14-15". And you will usually have a lumpy idle.

i put a set of ca16de cams in mine and it does the same thing. i wouldnt think such a small change would do that but ive only got 2 vacuum lines and neither are leaking. my idle hunts from about 650-1100 rpm and ive only got ~16" vaccuum.

doesnt have to be vacuum lines, could be intercooler piping leak
