I love my M45 dearly..it has everything I could want and more, it's really smart maybe too smart..BUT it has one annoying smart a$$ feature I could do without and I want to change that. The M45 comes with a system called ITD Infiniti Torque Demand. This whatever the hell determines the load on the engine and adjusts power input. Say your driving up a hill and you know how a regular car slows down? Well the M45 maintains that speed without hitting the gas. Nice right? NO! This system has way too much control. When I hit the gas on a inclined road from standstill it does'nt require me to place more input ie. hit the gas more. And when I'm on a downhill it slows the input. So everytime I hit the gas I get a different acceleration if I input the same throw in the pedal. This is pissing me off because I can't determine a takeoff and it took the driver out of the car. The car drives me, not me driving it! The question is can I disconnect this ITD by pulling a fuse in its system? Maybe in the fusebox? Thanks!
