Help in adding an aftermarket amplifier, 04 M45

Hi guys, im new here, what is the cheapest way to add an aftermarket amplifier to power a Sub for a 2004 M45?

I was looking at getting a Lineoutput Converter and just splicing the wires on the factory amp.

But i asked for a second opinion on a local shop and they said the only way to do it is to get a $120 module.

Also, where do i run the power wire? the local shop said the only way is under the car or on the middle under the carpet(but will need to take the seats off).

The cheapest way to do it is to run a hi/lo converter.... (this way sucks tho, most shops cringe when asked to do it or wont all together)

Most of the audible bass you will listen to is between 20-80 hz. A hi-lo converter will only play from 50 hz up. Therefore you will be getting less than half the bass you want. Reason shops wont the hi/lo's is because most customers will come right back saying it sounds like a**.... Big headache caused by cheap people expecting the world.

The "module" they are telling you to get, I am guessing its a audicontrol aftershock or LC6. Will reproduce bass down to 10 hz. It is worth it if you actually value the quality of the factory system.

do you know why will it only play 50hz and up?is it because the output of the amps have a high pass filter?

i saw the AC LC6 and noticed that its just a Line output converter with more outputs and inputs. will that actually help it?

Yes it is because of the hi pass filter. The LC6 does the exact same thing while replicating lower frequencies.

I have two twelves wired in after the bose amps and it sounds fine. More bass than I need. I used a LOC but if I recall, you don't even need to use it.
