Help identifying this sensor pics included

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't find any info on this part in my FSM. This sensor is located on the side of the airbox

What sensor is this?

I'm pretty sure that's your Air Intake Temperature Sensor.

Affirmative. It is not in the '92 fsm because it doesn't come stock on a '92. The airbox in this car must have come from an '89 or early '90. (I think I have the years right, but I could be remembering wrong)

no kidding... I'll verify with the dealer tomorrow. That would definitely explain why I can't find the connector and why it run's fine.

Hey - I could be wrong about that. Feel free to correct me. I was under the impression that they removed it from the design around 1990.5 and never put it back.

My 240sx was wrecked at some point so this could've been pulled from an earlier model to make it run again. I'll double check with the dealer tomorrow. If this plug's into the same harness as the MAF, I don't see it at all..

Kinda need to check my MAF to make sure it's the correct one..How can I tell that I have the correct MAF installed??
