Help Identify wires...

Some info: 92 Hatch, KA24de, bought it a few months ago knowing the motor was blown.

Issue: Shaving engine bay, found 2 small wiring harnesses cut. And I believe the silver cylinder shaped piece is a position sensor of some sort (cams or crank?).

Ill go out and check the coloring of the wires now.

The cut wires you have pictured are sensors for an automatic transmission. Your car could have been an auto which they converted to standard, and the wires and sensors are no longer needed (if your car is standard).
