Help, IAM CHANGING MY HEAD GASKET AND...

right now iam chaning out my head gasket and i need to know for the timing chain does it come of with the head??? i have a chilton book and it shows that it doesnt, but when i move around my head it movies around with it. Anyone please help by tonight iam trying to get it down to the block thanks

it'll come off as you have to take out the sproket that holds the lower and upper timing chains.

So it should not come of then????? because when i lift up and down the head it kinda moves with it

Well you probably need to replace the chain if it has too much slack in it.
