hi, i have a 93 240sx non abs

i just recently did a 5 lug conversion on the car, i installed the rear brakes and everything. i got it on the ground, and once i try backing up there is this sound, almost like grinding, but not sure if it is, but just like gears trying to catch but just bearly. i don't have lsd, its open. it also happens when i go forward. so i jacked up the car to seee whats wrong, i put it gear and gased, no sound!, but then if i put up the e-brake, it makes the same sound, anyone have any ideas, please help me!!!

If you put up the e-brake and rev the engine? Not in gear?Does it back up, but just make a noise, or will it not move?

if i jack it up and put it in gear it, the wheels moves but makes no nosie, once i put the e brake up it makes nosie. once i put it back down, and in gear trying to drive it, it makes nosie. if i put up the ebrake and just rev in while not in gear it makes no nosie
