My power steering pump seems to be frozen in place. I loosened but didn't remove every bolt that seems to be holding it in place but still couldn't visibly move it when changing the three belts. I had to pry off the old power steering belt to change the alternator/waterpump belt, and then reinstalled the old power steering belt since it was already stretched to the right length by prying it back on. I know this is not good for the belt but since it wouldn't move, even using a pry bar, this is the only thing I could think of. It seems to have worked as my power steering still works good.If anyone knows of any trick to moving the pump for belt adjustment I would like to know it.
