HELP I messed up

Upon trying to install my RL SSK, I seem to have snapped the cable fitting that holds the plastic female on of the ball bearing. Found 2/3 plastic pieces that snapped off. It will connect to the new pivot point, but I'm extremely concened that it won't stay on. Please advise, I'm assuming I'll need to take a trip to the dealership tomorrow(not in my car lol)
