I recently bought a 94 Q with 129k took it to the local nissan dealer and had the 60k mile svc done to the car. So one night leaving work i pass a car on the freeway and when i came to a stop i noticed the car had a noticeable miss. now the car when it rains misses and stumbles also idles irratically and shakes lightly and stops. it also uses more gas now before i had the service done. So should i change the plugs again or should i think about coil pack replacement.

Common problem. Sounds like your mass air flow (MAF) sensor was disturbed at the shop. It's the roundish piece bolted to the air filter housing. For starters, jiggle the MAF's electrical connector to see if the miss (and check engine light) goes away. If that doesn't work disconnect and look at all pins for corrosion then adjust female pins for a tight fit onto the MAF pins. Let us know if that helps. Good luck.
