Help. I have problem with 3rd cylinder. Any suggestions?

Hi I own Inifniti G20 for about 5 years. I servicing the car in Nissan. Never have any major problems. Drives good.But let my girl-friend drive for 1 day and then the next day has a problem.The 3rd cylinder does not work. I change the spark plug and the wire and the is a spark but still the cylinder does not work.Please, help me. What could be the problem?Injector?

Yeah, if you are getting spark, then the next thing to look at would be the injector. Oh, and don't forget to lay a guilt trip on your girlfriend for breaking your car so you can make her your sex slave for a little while.

could be a number of things.

hope it is the injector.

the compression rings on ur piston have gone bad. if ur exhaust is a blue color then ur oil control ring has gone bad too. these must be replaced if its your piston. this is worse than the injector but not worse than whats next.

cracked cylinder sleeve. most people swap out the motor or trade in the car. this is an expensive repair. this is a worst case scenario.

Definatly an injector, they are common to go out on these motors.

Exactly. Either injector or ECU. I have had both happen to me.
