i just bought a 240 last weekend and now it hesetates when gassing it sometimes. In the morning it usually takes a couple of seconds to start up but then it will start. TOday i was driving around and evertime the rpms would get low the engine wanted to shut off. I pulled over and went in burger king when i got out and tried to start it it wouldnt start. I think it has something to do with the fuel system, because i burn alot of fuel. I went 105 miles on a half of tank. Shouldnt i be getting more than that? NE ways if ne body can help me out it would be much appriashiated. I also have a months subscription to carfax so if ne body need a report done just email me. [email protected]

there could be many things wrong with the car.You could have a loose/bad ground, or you could simply have a burned up O2 sensor that has the injectors open at 100% all the time and that floods the system.

Doe the car throw any codes?

i'm thinking maybe just as simple as a cracked hose? vacuum leak. need more info. is/was it choking? hmmm...something went out on my old camaro once and the engine ran really really rich and the excess gas clogged the cat...that was kinda similiar....try to describe the problem better :-)
