Pop a squat and take a listen:
I'm not the only one who has been noticing that a lot of questions that belong in the suspension, wheel and tire, and engine subforums are being placed in 240sx/Silvia gen chat. Technically, yes there are more views/replies per thread created in here than in the other sections, but why do you think that is? That's right; the reason you can't get a quick answer in the subsections is because YOU DON'T POST THERE ENOUGH!
It's a self-defeating circle that needs to stop, so I am going to begin moving threads to the correct forum based on their content. The subsections have moderators and knowledgeable members who make it their job to share the info or help you find it, so use them to their full potential (me included!). This will help reduce the number of unhelpful responses to serious questions and possibly make the transition for new members a little easier. Finding info should take a lot less time since you don't have to wade through hundreds of off-topic threads.
If you already have knowledge in a certain field and think you can help others who may not, start checking in to that section to see if you can lend a hand.
Keep gen chat open for pic threads, sharing your opinions and other non-technical topics. That way we can use this forum to appropriately address issues like fugly e-bay auction 240s, hot girls posing on s-cars, srpowered's blue dash debates etc...
Thanks.
