No way will the CO2 method work on a small door ding near or on the fender crease. That only works on giant shallow depressions in the middle of a panel.
Don't go to a body shop. You need to find a PDR specialist, as in Paintless Dent Removal. They will almost certainly have to drill a small access hole in your panel (probably in the recess where the door closes) to get their tools behind the ding and massage it out. It will come out perfect and they'll patch the hole with a rubber bung - you'll never know.
They also could use the hot glue gun method which pulls the dent out and doesn't require the access hole, but that won't work well if it's so near that crease in the metal as it seems you're describing it. I had this exact ding in the same location.
Cost should be about $90. I have had three dents already pulled or pushed on my car and know the process well. As a repeat customer, I get them done for $75 now. It's alot of money, but on a black car, it's worth it becuz that dent will cause you sleepless nights thinking about it and the warped reflection it causes!!!
