Help!! How do I remove the dash in my 280zx... doom!

I could use anyone's suggestions or pictures on how to get my dashboard out of my 1980 280ZX, this is my first restoration project and I cant find any thing any where on how to remove my dashboard! The dash has to come out so that I can get to the heater control valve. The previous owner ran straight hose from the radiator and bypassed the valve by putting the hose on the passenger floor and attaching an outside home water spicket valve to turn it on or off... its a giant burn hazard for anyone sitting shotgun... So if you have any suggestions or recommendations or well anything that would be great... this is my first time writing a forum. Please help me before I remove something I am going to regret! lol Thanks!

sorry I don't have the instructions in front of me, but for starters remove the console stereo and all that stuff in the middle, pull the trim plate/vent ar the front of the dash near the glass to get to the screwd under it, pull out the glove box, and pull the bolts holding the steering column up, there are screws holding ti to the center hump on either side as well as screws holding it to brackets ar tthe ends under the dash

it's a pita just take your time and you'll get it

thanks much for answering me lol I actually have everything taken out of the car other than the steering wheel and the dash, I had read some where that there was a trick to getting the steering wheel out with out taking apart the wrong things... lol oh well Its a giant learning experience thanks for answering me

you don't have to pull the wheel just frop the column IIRC

It's been a few years since I've messed with S130's so forgive my memory
