help hooking up radio

i have my stereo hooked up but the radios wire isnt. i need some sort of adapter to hook up the radio wire to my aftermarket stereo. anyone else have this kind of problem? where can i get an adapter?

I don't really get your question...but if you are having the problem where the radio turns on, but there is no sound coming from the speakers, you need to hook up the "remote" wire on the headunit to both the power antenna wire (if you have one) AND another wire coming off the harness. I don't remember exactly which wire it is, but it turns on the amps attached to the factory speakers. Of course, this is all if you have the "Active Speaker" system in the car.

do you mean where the antenna wire hooks up? If so, yes, you do, had same problem, but bought at circuit city or something.

i think CRyan knows what im talking about. Its the wire for the antenna to plug into the back of the stereo but the stereo i have in there now has a different plugin, so i was thinking i needed an adapter and now im looking at circuit city for one

nevermind found it at circuit city, Antenna adapter $12.99. thanks CRyan
