help. high idle

Hi guys, I have a problem with my high idle. My car will idle perfectly and then when i step on the throttle after it warms up the idle doesn't go back down all the way. It steadily idles at between 1400 and 2000 rpm. When I push down just a little bit on the throttle cable or throttle body assembtly under the hood it goes back to normal. What do you think it could be? Thanks

maybe something with the throttle cable or the throttle pulley is sticking open a little.
