HELP, HELP, HELP, stabilizer rod!!!

Hi everyone,

I just noticed that my stabilizer connecting rod on the driver side is out.

Does anybody know how to fix this prblem and what is the risks of driving with it out for long periods of time.

Please help. I don't want my front suspension to fall apart and cause me to get into a crash.

are you talking about the sway bar end link???

In the service manual it identifies the part as the stabilizer connection rod, but it is probably referred to as the sway bar link in aftermarket parts.

It appears that the bushings have worn off. I have already ordered replacement bushings as well as replacement brackets for both sides.

The repair job doesn't look that hard, but I would still like to know what is the risks for driving with the bar disconnected.

And, if anybody knows simple repair (DIY) directions, please post them.
