HELP! HEADLIGHT QUESTION....

so i was working on cutting my headlights so i can paint them, but i kinda got scared and didnt want to mess them up so, any quick tips from kimber or reyes, or anyone else out there who has done this.... i wasnt really sure where to cut but i started on 2 spots and no progress yet.... hopefully i will have this done by tomorrow....

this such a pain... hopefully it turns out nice....

it is intimidating... but as long as you caulk them back up securely, it's very hard to eff it up...
