HELP! Has anyone hooked up a electric trailer brake controller?

I have a 2008 QX,may be the same as Armada in regards to access to the connector for the aftermarket electric brake controller.It has a tow package and the manual says the adapter/plug is located above the parking brake behind the lower dash. I can't find anything.Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks

Ok I found the plug coming out of the wiring harness by removing the lower dash panel,but the jumper wire connector that plugs into it is missing?????

Did you check the service manual? Here is a link to the '08 Armada FSM, it is pretty much the same as the QX56 for '08.
