help getting to starter

I'm trying to change my starter, and I can't manage to get to the top bolt. It's hidden beneath the intake manifold. Is there any way of getting to it without removing the intake?

I got mine by going up from underneath with a pretty long extension and a swivel socket.

If you can fit your hand and arm up in there far enough to get to the bolt hold the socket on.

gross, i hope mine never goes. i did one on the truck ka24, and it was a PAIN even tho i had access through the fenderwell

it's dam easy to get it.. just a normal socket I changed my starter in 10min
