help getting another s14 rb26

(FYI I'M NEW and have a few questions) Ok i will get my front clip-knock on wood- on december 8th.

Venus-Auto in Cali is my decision. I wanted to make my trip worth the effort just in case it goes wrong. So I plan on stopping by at jdm customs on the way.

1st. Is there any other good companies any of you could recommend that is in cali? so I can check them out 2

2nd. Is there any other internal tests other than compression and leak-down I should look 4?

3rd. What kind of numbers am I to expect from a good engine's tests?I tried learning but after reading explanation of both on other site I still felt confused and I wasn't actually told all the numbers I needed
