I've looked everywhere i can think of behind around under the battery and still can't come up with a black/pink wire.... I don't think i have the same plug either.... is it the same in an s14 cause i know the fuses are in different spots...i've found it on the ecu... but i can't find the dayum thing in my engine bay for shi.t...this is really irritating me.

Cut it at the ECU, its the same wire. Just make sure you leave enough to splice it back if this doesnt fix the problem. Cut it and ground it.

i cut the blck/pnk wire at the ecu.... used the half that runs to the ecu and attatched a loop... grounded it... nothing happend..... tried using the other half that leads into the engine bay... still got nothing... so i hooked up a charger to the pos and neg. wires on the pump... it worked just fine... so this is basically telling me i have no power going to it.... does anyone know where the hell the fuel pump relay is on an s14??????

420 on the f3 plug from the ka harness you have to connect the black/pink wire that is between the black/yellow and the orange wire on that plug. That is the one for the fuel pump the other black/pink is the one for the AC triple presure switch... do you have a copy of the ka plug wires? here it is just in case.

ok... the f3 plug is the white efi harness plug correct?...I followed the fuel plug wires to this red wire in the picture....At the end of this wire (the circled plug) is where i'm missing the plug it goes into....next picture shows the plug i can't find.... as you can see... it runs underneath the dash to the fuse box and the fuel pump relay... I cannot find the dash harness to plug into the body harness.... I think my only option is to take my dash off and look for it... the only thing i can think is that it got caught somewhere up there when i was pulling my harness through the firewall

have you separated your ka ecu from your ka f3 plug like this

http://azparttrader.com/rbhelp/IMG_2526.JPG

when you put the f3 plug back in place you will have all these wires loose and that's where you make your connections... I believe the fuel pump wire is on the female side of the f3 plug.. I dont know of this round plug you are looking for unless you take a pic so I can see where it's goin or coming from..

I just can't find the harness plug that runs underneath the dashboard to the fuel pump relay/fuse. I have a picture of the body harness plug (this is the harness that runs towards the trunk), it's posted on the 1st page of this thread... I only removed the ka ecu and ka harness... so that dash harness has to be hidden in there somewhere

First, I dont need the cluster. I need the plugs that go into the cluster because I want to use the cluster.

Second, the speedo is very simple and I dont know why people have a hard time with it. Take the gear out of the speedo sensor in the KA trans and swap it with the gear on the speedo in the RB trans. It takes like 5 minutes and is super easy. The speedo readys acurate for all practical purposes. If you have a reason to want more exact numbers, youll probably find an Apexi Rev Speed meter usefull, but thats if you have a need for exact numbers. Swapping gears gets it very close.

Nope... The plug i was chasing after has nothing to do with power to the fuel pump.... The fuel pump power delivery lines wrap across the back of the car... from the right tail light... to the left.... then a straight shot up to the relay... so i was on the wrong side of the car... This in mind... i tried checking continuity between my ECU (pin 18) and the relay... but it turns out i don't have a multimeter capable of checking continuity... therefore, i don't know if i'm getting power from the ecu to the relay.....

Go buy a test light from autozone for $10.

Hook up the clamp to ground and stick the probe in the pin either by the ecu or the fuel pump relay. The light should light up.
