It takes a lot of people to provide useful information on vehicle reliability, and NICO has been a huge help--with threads like the sticky in this forum.

So I like to help out NICO whenever I can. The next big opportunity will be the press release that will attend TrueDelta's August results. If the 2009 Murano makes it into those results with 25+ responses, I'll mention it in that release, and thank NICO for making the result possible. I'll also credit NICO on TrueDelta's home page, and perhaps in the regular email to all 23,000+ site members.

So far 26 owners of the 2009 have signed up to participate, so it's going to be tight. 40+ would make a full result much more likely.

We won't be mentioning earlier model years in the press release, but do need more participants for them as well.

Guys, regardless of the benefit we gain from this, it's an enormously helpful project...

Beats the hell out of the lame automotive "reviews" at Edmunds and Consumer Reports!

I picked up my '09 today. How long do I need to wait before I can participate?

The main survey always covers the previous month, so you'll be able to participate in the main survey in just a few weeks.

You can sign up now--which will reduce your chances of forgetting to. You might receive a request to complete a survey on May, but since you didn't own the Murano in May just ignore it until next month.

You can participate in some of the others right away.

The 2009 is going to be in the August results, but probably with an asterisk for marginal sample size.

I'd like to avoid that asterisk. If you've signed up but haven't responded to the survey, please do. If you haven't yet signed up, please consider doing so.
