HELP! (General Tire Maintenance Question)

So, I'm filling up my car this morning and while I'm performing my standard "walk-around-the-car-and-make-sure-everything-looks-OK" check, I noticed something sticking out of the sidewall of my rear passenger side tire. Upon closer inspection (and a bit of tugging!) it appears to be one of the nylon threads from inside the tire poking out through the sidewall!

I still have the stock tires on my '08 3.5 Coupe and have about 31,000 miles on it. My first question is: "Am I safe to drive on the tire like this until I can get it fixed (tomorrow)" and my second question is "Is this still covered under the tire warranty"?
