help---gas mileage 190 per tank?????

WTF..all of a sudden i'm getting 190 or less per tank. I know my car has a 20 gallon tank and that is worse than a hummer. When I fill up it takes 16 gallons..so the gauge is ok...is my 02 sensor off or something..the lights on the dash are all off...i'm worried its something normal and i'll have to pay up more now.I added an air intake..and borla cat back exhaust system..but it shouldn't do much said the dealer.

Those mods should increase gas mileage. Check your O2 sensors. Maybe you unplugged the connector?

ohh i know how you feel. thats how much i get per tank =/...im running rich.. could have been the previous owner who changed the injectors for more power.

190 a tank? Something sure doesn't sound right. I suppose it could be the O2 sensor. Have you checked for a leak around the fuel filter?

That is horrendous. I get near 340 a tank all the time.

I swear sometimes I smell gas ...i have an appointment on saturday at 1pm with the dealer..i'll post when I return..stay tuned

took it to the dealer early...the word is nothing is wrong..I got 90 miles to the 1/2 tank..they said its because my tire pressure is off a little, my cold air intake filter is a little dirty and its 15 degrees outside so it burns gas like crazy when I drive city ..highway ..not to bad..I think i'm getting 270 now..

Cold weather should increase gas mileage. Tires and a dirty filter wouldn't affect you MPG that drastically. Something isn't right...

Like rydwhite, I get 340 per tank...more if I do a lot of highway travel.

Are you're exhaust tips really dirty?

my exhaust is brand new...could it be the 02 sensor? there are no lights..i'm still worried...90 miles to half tank sucks...I need some more advice..another dealer maybe?..my car is well tuned..not a scratch anywhere

called another place..they said there is nothing I can do..cold weather, driving hard, city...all gets crappy mileage..oh well..

If you're running rich, then your tips would get black with soot. It's a quick way to tell...

on the dealer! Have them check the emissions...
