Yeah your right they are the links for the sway bar. Those nuts are are major pain to get off because there seized most of the time. Easiest way is to use torches too heat up the nut and blast it off with an impact gun. But you end up wrecking the nut and if not careful the link as well.AlabamaDan wrote:I bought some new shocks and struts for my 1998 QX4 and I'm havings some problems. The shocks are easy squeezy. The struts are a little more challenging. I got the passenger side done and was starting on the driver's side, but can't finish.
There's this nut that has to come off. I think it's for the sway bar linkage. It's a 2?mm nut with an alan screw inside. I can't get them to break loose. I've tapped on them with a hammer. Soaked them with PB. I've almost rounded both off and before I do any more damage I need help. Is there a trick?
PLEASE HELP!
It should be same as pathfinder but I could be wrong.AlabamaDan wrote:Ok, so who is parting out a QX4 that can sell me a sway bar linkage cheap? Is it the same exact part on a pathfinder?
Ouch . . . man . . I mean, I have 2 as well but they're next to each other sort of. :ofueler wrote: I now have 2 nuts, one on top of eachother
yeah i think anyone who wears boxers has 1 nut longer than the other, because when you walk, they bang side by side until eventually one droops lower than the other so the nuts dont bang into eachother!!KoukiS14 wrote:

Well, I certainly subscribe to that theory -- so far, so good!fueler wrote: yeah i think anyone who wears boxers has 1 nut longer than the other, because when you walk, they bang side by side until eventually one droops lower than the other so the nuts dont bang into eachother!!
