I have built KAde-T 95 8:5 pistons, rods, valve train, etc jimwolf ecu 72lb injectors, etc, etc, I have about 4000 miles on it and want to know your turbo opinions? It is Ok ,but have nothing to compare to . I have the "Big Kahuna"

turbohttp://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/garrettto4r.html and it pulls hard up top from 4300-7000 but has lag and doesn't hit 12 psi until 4300-4500 ,I run 15-17psi for now and will work up soon when I get chance to dyno,I do daily drive and kinda miss the faster spool. But is there another affordable choice of turbo size and trim that you guys would reccomend that could still produce close to 450-500hp and a better spool and power band ?

THats a big turbo, used on 600-700whp Supras. I couldnt find a comp map for it, but its got a 63 trim wheel with 84mm major.Maybe you should check out the 60-1 and 62-1 wheels. They have 76.2mm majors with 60 and 66 trims. If your willing to spend some money (I imagine the T04R isnt cheap), check out Garrett GT turbos. GT30, 32 and 35 might be good choices...
