I have decided to try and work towards becoming a firefighter. I haven't done too well in college so far (3 semesters in community college) but now that I have decided what I want to become I started looking into schools and programs that will help me obtain that dream.

I found this 8 week course in San Diego (EMSTA College). My father said he will cover the class fees but not food/housing/leisure spending. I am applying at various places right now and going to start selling possessions along with any little odd job I can find for the next two months to try and get enough money to sustain myself down there for the two months of schooling. I want to save enough to where I don't need to worry about making rent or having food on the table.

I have a couple friends with an apartment down in San Diego that I think I will be able to crash at for the two months, but they may not still be there. They are planning on splitting up and coming back up here to the OC/LA area and if that happens I won't have a place to stay in the SD area. I really don't think I'll have enough money to get my own studio for the two months so I was wondering if anybody had a room available or knew of anyone looking for a roommate for a short period during July/August. If you do I would greatly appreciate it, any info is a giant help.

I'm not trying to party or go out every night, I really need to get my life straightened out and not passing this class isn't an option. This will be costing way too much money and too much time to pi$s it away for a month or two of fun. Once again thank you for any info/help :dblthumb:
