ive got a 91 240sx with the ka24de. my engine has a knock or tap. is there anyway I can tell what it is, without taking my engine apart?

check your oil. I thought mine was gonna get blowed up because it had a bad knock in it. I checked the oil and I was low. 2 quarts low. so quickly check.
