help for Bose system

So on my QX4 my left front door speaker was intermittently cutting out. I noticed if I whacked the lower part of the door with my hand it would come back. Sometimes for a long time others not. If it did this perhaps 2 or 3 times it would than pretty much stay "on". All the signs of a bad connection.
I pulled the door panel off, removed the entire speaker assembly (including the amp). I "retouched" all the solder joints on the amp connector and it seems I got the issue resolved.
